Consultation
Consultations are generally available Mondays and Fridays during business hours. After hours appointments are available and attract higher fees. Appointments are 50-60 minutes in duration.
Fees
In general, fees for individual consultations range from $100 - $130, with discount rates and health fund rebates available. Since 1 November 2006, the Australian Government introduced new Medicare items for psychological treatment by Registered Psychologists. This new initiative has given mental health a similar standing to general health in the nation's funded Medicare system and recognises the effectiveness of psychological treatments delivered by Psychologists. Presently, Medicare offers mental health care schemes which enables clients to claim between 76% to 100% of the consultationfee. This will be discussed with you prior to your first session.
Missed Appointments:
A minimum notice of cancellation of one working day is requested otherwise missed appointments will be billed.
